Kitchen Porter
We are now recruiting for a full time kitchen porter to join our fantastic team.
As a vital kitchen member, the candidate will work in a fun, hard working environment, completing tasks set by the Head chef to ensure smooth day to day running of the business.
No experience or qualifications necessary, just a willingness to get stuck in & be a great team player.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking general cleaning and kitchen duties
- Using pot wash facilities
- Following health, safety & hygiene procedures
- Basic food preparation
This job is a full time role, with a very competitive salary package to be discussed, including tips & paid overtime. You will be expected to work 4.5 days per week, on a set rota (to be discussed) including split shifts & weekends.
We have fantastic staff accommodation in the village if required & uniform, training & meals are also provided on shift.
Chef Positions
Due to our recent ‘Top 50 gastro pub’ achievement, we are looking to strengthen our kitchen team & have chef positions available.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our talented brigade in one of the UK’s best pub kitchens, where the standards & expectations are high.
As a vital member in our team of 7, the candidate will work in a busy environment, completing tasks set by the hands-on Head chef & receive guidance to help them excel within a career in hospitality.
A minimum of 1 year experience & NVQ qualifications are preferred but not compulsory, for a candidate who has a love for great food, possesses a willingness to work hard & understands the importance of being a great team player.
This job is a full time role & is open to all levels from commis chef to junior sous. The business offers a very competitive salary to be discussed on a working trial as well as paid overtime & tips, live in accommodation is available with this role.
We are also looking for an apprentice chef, or somebody wanting to start a career in food/hospitality. This will be a part time role that runs alongside a suitable college course & is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to be guided & mentored through the beginning of their career.
